I have known this guy for about 5 years. When we first met we flirted a lot and there were a few occurrences where we kissed, but we were both pretty young and just out to have a good time. Each of us went to different schools and I settled into a relationship with someone for quite a while, we broke up about 5 months ago. And he started dating a girl about 2 years ago. We both ended up moving back to our hometown, his girlfriend followed him, and they just very recently moved in together. However, before they moved in he mentioned something to his friends about not being sure in his relationship. I recently, unintentionally, started developing feelings for him and confided in a mutual friend about it. Turns out this mutual friend mentioned it to him and basically relayed it back to me that this guy said he likes me and always has. Long story short, we ended up all going out last weekend. His girlfriend left early to go to their house and he stayed out with us. He was really overtly flirtatious with me the whole night, mind you we had both had a few to drink. I ended up giving him a ride home and when we got to his house HE kissed ME. I did not initiate this even slightly, I wouldn't do that on my own. Anyways, I'm not going to sugar coat it - we made out for about 30 minutes. I should have stopped myself, but I didn't. We have communicated since and are keeping things under wraps. He spoke to our mutual friend about it and told him that I was the first girl he had kissed other than his girlfriend in 2 years. However, he also said he thinks we would be good together but that he loves his girlfriend. I don't think he's happy, and I want to be with him. What should I do?

Where can I go freshwater fishing in West Sus?

I am looking for a stretch of river to fish for a day preferably for good quality chub, barbel and/or roach. I used to fish the Dorset Stour in years gone by but have only managed the odd day each of the last few years although I buy an annual rod licence every year. Why does my arm hurt when I flex or do reps with a dumbbell?

You have to be careful with weightlifting. If you strained a muscle, you definitely need to let it rest. Wait until it doesn't hurt from normal everyday work, like lifting a backpack or a box or something. If it feels normal again, then I would start working your way back up to 35 pounds, but don't start with it. Start at 10 and as long as there is no pain, then move up to 15 or 20, then 25 then 30, then 35. Just listen to your body! If it hurts, stop immediatly. If you don't let your muscles heal properly, it could hurt you in the long run. Like, you may not be able to workout that arm ever again! If it keeps hurting, you need to go to the doctor. You'll probably be fine if you just let it rest. Remember to let your body rest. That is JUST as important as the actual workout! Good luck!

Why does this guy check out any girl who is around? While he's holding my hand?

I am at a loss. I have been seeing this guy for about three months now, it's not to serious but it is getting there. Did you go into the options menu for your camera to see if your focal options were correct? When you look into your viewfinder, and you focus, does it ony focus on one area? (you should have a little square or circle flashing that tells you what you are focused on)You can usually change this to focus on more than one thing. Your camera should have a manual that explains this. I would figure that out before buying another lens.

Latex-based hair glue + silicon spray = goo. HELP!?

I used a silicon-based shine spray to loosen some latex-based hair glue (used for extensions), thinking it would act the same as oil. Instead, the spray dissolved the glue, turning it into a sticky goo that felt like a large clump of the glue used on the back of Post-It notes. I have two indoor cats. But one absolutely loves getting out in the back yard, and she thanks me profusely with meows when she's out there. Why doesn't God answer any of my prayers?

God DOES care about you. He sees the big picture for you so sometimes He might answer "yes", sometimes "no" and then maybe "wait awhile" would be the best thing for you. This is just like a parent with his child....the child does not always know what is best for him. If that child got everything he asked for he would not be able to handle it or it would make him sick or something. Sometimes we need to think outside the box to see answers to our prayers...see how things worked out when we did NOT get our way. Hindsight is usually much clearer.

98 jimmy, new fuel tank, filter, pump has gas pressure but engine gets none, starts with either then dies. why?

replaced fuel tank, filter & pump. started up and idled for about an hour, also would turn off-wait-and started it up a few times before test drive. Got maybe mile down road & died. Now will not start, it trys, but nothing. All new parts work & gas pressure is good. Spary either and it starts then dies. There is no check engine light on. So, DK what to check for with out replacing all sensors & injectors. All costly.. Has anybody dealt with this before, any ideas that's not cost me more than a new engine?

During my first day of surf camp this week, the backs of my thighs were severely sunburnt. Listen I think you should listen to the people telling you to take that medication. When you do. Read the constitution and the people in charge of children are in charge of protecting there right to think the way they choose to think, as long as it does not violate the rights of society. Ok, so i had this dream that i was at home and in my back yard was a HUGE tree. I remember looking up and being blinded by the sun but i really wanted to get up there. It was impossible to climb though. So I went in my house, blew a hole in the side of it and set up a huge slingshot. I slung myself at the tree and missed. I stared floating over these huge white buildings where big muscular men were burning down all the trees and ruining the forests' beauty. I tried to fly home but was stuck floating in the air. Eventually i managed to glide but had a hard time staying up high enough. If i got too low they would try to steal my to make me their girl. When i got home my boyfriend was waiting by the big tree, had white roses in has hand and a little box. He purposed and told me to close my eyes. I did and he put his arms around me, when he told me to open my eyes we were flying and at the top of the huge tree was a little house built in the inside of it. It was beautiful, the sun rays shone off of it and it was almost to bright to look at. There were birds and erflies everywhere. I looked around and could see nothing but fields and forests for miles, it was wonderful. Then he kissed me and we both grew huge, white, glowing angel wings. Problems with my contacts...especially in the winter?

I have been wearing contacts for over 7 years now, and I've never had a problem like this before. I had conjunctivitis in Jan of '10 and ever since then my contacts haven't been the same, on and off. As soon as I put them in, I get excruciating headaches that last even when I take the contacts out. They feel sticky in my eyes and my eyes dry out very quickly. I hate wearing gles and I've seen multiple optometrists and one ophthalmologist, who told me my "eyes might just be changing and it might take 6+ months for them to accept contacts again." Is there nothing I can do? I was fine all through the summer; it seems to reappear in the winter. Any suggestions or comments??

Choosing a foundation paint color?

We bought a house last year and recently had it sided and the foundation is currently 3 different colors. 2 sides are white, 1 gray and 1 is still the cinder blocks. Our house is a tan/beige color and I was wondering if the foundation should be darker than the siding or lighter? I was leaning towards darker but have no idea what color. My back hurts...idk what else to do?

so at the beginning of august we started summer band (yes, u r reading something written by a major marching band geed), and about a week later my back started to hurt. So, towards the end of summer band I had started to use heat (even bring something to heat up during breaks). Then school started and I finally had to get a brace. Then, my brace got stuck in my locker (this was thurs), and yesterday we had UIL (we advanced!). It hurt so bad at the games on thurs and fri and then again after marching on sat. What did i do? It hurts near my waistband on my pants, and it hurts on both sides, sometimes in my , sometimes near my shoulders. but it's never in my legs, so it's not sciata. and it's warm to the touch, I play the flute, and i have a pretty arched back. she needs to learn how to deal with her emotions better, yes being sensitive is a good thing but being sensitive to the point where she cries over a funny poem is ridiculous. I recommend you see another psychologist for tips on how to help her so she can cope with school, to be honest it sounds to me like she may have some type of anxiety disorder, try teaching her breathing techniques and other calming exercises because she needs a coping strategy, she can't avoid these things forever. this may sound harsh but there is a type of therapy that involves facing fears, she seems to be very afraid of death and pain, are there any places where she can experience these things (I don't mean torture her) like an old jail or something? she needs to learn how to overcome this and I'm sure you'll find the right way for her, it could take some time though.

Believe it or not we are capable of wanting conflicting or contradictory things at the same time, this is called ambivalence. Empathy is the key to understanding ambivalence so that we can focus on what is really important to us. Let me use being single versus married to illustrate. When we are single we might fantisize about the advantages of being married and vice-versa. When this happens we tend to maximize the negative of our current status while maximixing the positives of the alternative status. Wouldn't it make more sense to use empathy to understand what needs are currently not being satisfied and explore options that will solve the issue? Is the problem loneliness? There are many solutions to this without marriage. Marriage and having babies create more problems than they solve because we are not effectively dealing with the unsatisfied needs. I seek the Spirit of truth through empathy to keep me focused on what is really important. Empathy also shows me what others want when they are obsessing about things they cannot control.

Top retainer broke in half?

Well today when I was taking out my top retainer, its one of the ones that has the metal thing that goes across your front teeth and little hooks on the back. Well anyways I dropped it in the sink, and I have done this a couple of times, but for some reason this time. It broke cleanly in half right where the metal comes out at. Well I called my Orthodontist and they are extremely busy and won't be able to get in back in to get me a new one, for 12 days, and they are the ones that take a while to make. So I am just really worried that my 4 years of wearing braces and being humiliated, is all going to be ruined because of a slip of the hand and a stupid sink. Ive been taking opiate medication, ive been having palpitations?! anyone ever experienced this?

Im 27, male, medium build, i take opiate medication, and have never in my life had heart problems, ever. I started taking my meds about 9 months ago, and before i took them i never had any problems. about 3 months ago i started experiencing heart palpitations out of the blue. i was not doing any physical stress, or anything. almost feels like my eyes are kinda teary sometimes. well, i didnt know what to do, i didnt get any chest pains or anything, so i took some advice and took magnesium and potium. they stopped. well after about 3 weeks of taking potium, the palps went away. well here we are about 9 months later, and out of the blue, the palps started up again. i took a potium pill and they went away for the night. the next morning, they came back. I had a infected tooth this time and was gonna start taking penicillin that day (penicillin VK has potium in it) and the penicillin made them go away, i figured because of the potium that was in the penicillin. Ive cut back alot on the salts ( i dont even use it anymore on food) and i dont eat too much junk. I thought it might be because of the tooth infection, but im not too sure, i did notice when i have a bad tooth ache, i get heart palpitations from the pain. Now, ive never had them before, i dont know what it could be, it doesnt seem to be anything serious at least it doesnt feel like it. I get constipation from the meds, but it doesnt get too bad, and i dont get dizzy or light headed. when i lay down it doesnt get worse or change really. Im thinking it might be low sodium, or a potium deficency. but how long would i have to take potassium to get my levels back up? ive never had this problem till i took the medication, but it doesnt make sense, because opiates arent supposed to cause palpations. anyone with a similiar story? ive looked all over to see what the cause was and im desperate for some answer. Id really appreciate someone to take the time and really help me. Everytime ive told the doctor about it, he brushes it off and says everything is fine with my heart. I do have to say that i do have bad anxiety and panic attacks, but most of the time when it happens my anxiety is not even around. is it an adrenaline thing? any ideas? any suggestions as far as something i could do to pin point the reason? its getting annoying, and my doctor is a old quack, lol he is oldschool, im really healthy and have no other symptoms besides my hearing is some what off and i have a few bad teeth, other then that im as healthy as an ox. please help! thank you i appreciate it so much.!

What is a heart pain?

So I have costalchronditis (I think that's how it's spelt) where the cartilage in my ribs is a bit inflamed and sometimes I get pains in my chest from it, like when I go to the gym. I was wondering, how can you tell what a heart pain is? Would I know, or is it easy to p off as something else, like my rib pains? For instance, is it always a dull deep ache, and does it always reach the left arm? My pains are fairly mild, sharp, shallow and localised, even when in centre of ribs. Many thanks :]

West Indian baby Food

Calling all West Indian and Indian mothers - My daughter is now 8 months old and I'm really struggling to cook food that is the same as ours. I don't add salt to our food, but I do use chicken stock, and I don'tg know how to season our food before and during cooking without adding the stock! I know that babies aren't meant to have any added salt, not even chicken stock. I don't add a huge amount but whenever I try making her food without a bit of stock it tastes so bland and awful and she doesn't really enjoy it either. I have tried buying low salt stocks and they taste awful, so they were no good anywa!. I might try Lo-Salt as an option, but I'm not sure whether babies can have this either. So my question is - do you cook as normal and give the baby a bit of what you have, or stick with the bland food?

My Bullmastiff is TOO hyper!?

I adopted a 3 year old bullmastiff about 7 months ago and she has been really difficult. She's extremely hyper, jumps around, knocks everything around her over including me half the time and I get bruises all over my feet where she accidentally steps on me, and when I tell her to go into her kennel she's so hyper that she sprints into it causing it to slide across the floor and slam into the wall. When I researched the breed I read that they were alot more laidback and easygoing than this, and I thought along with adopting an adult she would be pretty calm. I take her on daily 30-40 minute walks to get her energy out but it doesn't seem to do anything for her hyperness, and even the walks are a struggle because I've been trying to train her to heel with no luck at all. She's incredibly stubborn! I'm so frustrated that it's hard to enjoy her companionship. I need advice please! Is it possible to train her to calm down and if so, HOW??

Urijah Faber vs. Royce Gracie (in his prime)

Uriah, Bj, GSP, Fedor, and Anderson would all beat Royce in his prime. Royce is a great fighter and has done more for MMA than anyone else but the fighters of today are just much more evolved and better at all aspects. Bj would beat Royce on the ground since Bj is a world champ at BJJ and Royce is not. Uriah is basically a smaller version of Matt Hughes except is better all around. Uriah has choked a BJJ black belt in one of his fights and Jeff had Uriahs back for an entire round and couldn't catch Uriah in the choke. Uriahs BJJ, wrestling and standup is up there with the best of them. GSP would win because he has great takedowns and takedown defense so any hope of Royce winning the fight would go out the window. If GSP took it to the ground, GSP's BJJ is great and would probably overwhelm Royce with a submission or strikes. Fedor has submitted many top grapplers so Royce wouldn't have a chance since hes not a top grappler. Anderson is just as good on the ground and has much better striking. I love watchin Royce kick some *** but his day is over, the fighters are on a whole nother level now.

I live in Kentucky which is known for it's KKK rallies and such. My husband is also VERY prejudiced. Second year gardening. Ideas?

I did a 8x4 raised bed last year and planted tomatoes, cubers, eggplant, and strawberries. The strawberries put out a lot of foliage and spread out a lot but didnt produce any fruit. The tomato plants exploded and I got a very nice crop from them. The rest died quickly. For this year I am hoping to have everything I plant live and hopefully produce some healthy homegrown food for me. Any ideas for which veggies would be good for a newbie like myself? Which ones did you stick with when you were just getting started? Thanks.
