Latex-based hair glue + silicon spray = goo. HELP!?

I used a silicon-based shine spray to loosen some latex-based hair glue (used for extensions), thinking it would act the same as oil. Instead, the spray dissolved the glue, turning it into a sticky goo that felt like a large clump of the glue used on the back of Post-It notes. Does anyone have an idea on how to remove this goop all along my scalp?
