A while ago I saw an ad in a magazine for gr or gr seeds that come in the shape of a ball. Read details?

Can't remember what it was, but to plant it you make holes 1 foot away from each other in chess pattern. You put one ball into each hole. The ad said the gr needs to be watered only 2 times in the whole summer, required very little maintenance,grows in shady areas, and as it grows, it uproots the bad weeds, stops them from growing. Does anyone remember what the name of the gr brand was? Thanks
