Will my friend be in trouble?

Ok so today me and my friend (8th graders) were roaming the hallways of the school before cl. My friend has a habbit of just screaming like a girl for no reason, he does it all the time. Today he did it so loud that they hered it clear down in the main office. Then the principal came over the intercom and said for whoever did it to come to the office immediatly. My friend didn't, will he be in trouble...
