Locked out of new Sentry Safe?

So I feel like an idiot.. I just bought a sentry safe and I didn't put the batteries in, I took the screw out and shut it. Now I'm locked out and the keys won't open it because I didn't put batteries in. Is there any way to over ride this or do I have to hire a locksmith?
