2003 BMW M3 Redline?

I recently purchased a 2003 BMW M3 with about 25k miles. I accidentally redlined it in first gear for less than a second before shifting (I didn't realize the RPM accelerated that quickly). Any type of damage that I should look out for? I normally never p 6500 rpm (redline is about 8500 to 9000 rpm)
