Has anyone had a problem with mold on the inside of their maytag washer?

Nope. I have never run into that problem. Is it possible that you may have left towels or clothes in the machine for a while before taking them out? That's the only thing I can think of. I tend to find mold on towels after sitting in the hamper for a while when they're damp.
